OBITUARY Mr. Woodrow Cook of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Ulys Warren Cook and Cora Velma Atwell Cook, was born on Saturday, March 19, 1932 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. He was 90 years, and 24 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a lifelong farmer, and worked construction. He united in marriage to Betty Johnson Cook on September 21, 1963 who also preceded him in death on August 3, 1964. He later united in marriage to Nora Jane O'Banion Cook on April 6, 1968 who survives. Other survivors include a sister: Burnestine Cook Benningfield of Elkhorn; a sister-in-law: Judy Cook of Greensburg; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Cook was also preceded in death by siblings: JoAnn Cook, Varnum L. Cook, Ulys Glendon Cook, Ada Jean Cook Wilson, Gladean Cook Bryant, Catherin Cook White, Earnestine Cook Whitlow, and Herman L. The funeral services for Mr. Woodrow Cook will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Central Time, Friday, April 15, 2022 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the New Salem Cemetery.
