O B I T U A R Y

William Lee Beams of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Winford Beams and Ruby Walker Beams, was born on Thursday, July 18, 1963 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at his home. He was 62 years, 2 months, and 21 days of age.

He served our country honorably for 2 years, having served in the United States Army. Later he began construction work as a concrete finisher.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Samuel Dalton Beams and Sidney of Campbellsville, Tristan Lee Beams of South Carolina; one daughter: Joslyn Rain Beams of South Carolina; two grandchildren: Beckham Beams of Campbellsville, Kayson Lee Beams of South Carolina; a brother: Harold Beams of Greensburg; a special friend: Bri McKinney of Greensburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister: Brenda Davis; and a brother: Randall Beams.

The visitation for William Lee Beams will be conducted from 4 until 8 P.M., Central Time, Sunday, October 12, 2025 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with cremation to follow.

There will be no other services at this time. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Memorial Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
