O B I T U A R Y

Wanda Imogene Lane of Green County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Claude Downey and Christine Burris Downey, was born on Friday, July 7, 1922 in Casey County, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg. She was 89 years, five months, and one day of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to Howard Lane who preceded her in death in 2018.

Survivors include a son: Robert Lane of Green County; a granddaughter: Becky Goff of Ohio; three brothers and three sisters: Randall Downey, Danny Downey, Ray Downey, Jerry Parrish, Helen May, and Lucy McFarland; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Lane was also preceded in death by three children: Wanda Lane, Mike Lane, and Ben Lane.

Honoring Mrs. Lane's wishes, cremation was chosen. There are no formal services or visitation at this time. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
