O B I T U A R Y Verina Laverne England Lile of Green County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Robert "Bob" England and Nora Elizabeth Jessie England, was born on Saturday, May 21, 1932 in Metcalfe County and departed this life on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Green Hill Rehab and Care Center. She was 87 years, 8 months, and 19 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Liletown United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She united in marriage to Zachary Taylor "Doodle" Lile on December 24, 1951 who preceded her in death on January 18, 2011. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Shelia and Kenny Richerson of Greensburg; a grandson: Dylan Richerson of Greensburg; three brothers: Douglas England of Tennessee, Bobby N. England, and Harold R. England both of Indiana; a sister: Sue Armstrong of Shepherdsville; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Lile was also preceded in death by two brothers: Willie L. England and Gary C. England. ..................................................... The funeral services for Verina Laverne England Lile will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Central Time, Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Liletown Cemetery. Bro. Phillip Pursley officiating. Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Thursday until time of the funeral service.
