O B I T U A R Y

Tommy Frederick Shell, of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late James Luther Shell and Blanche Marie Sanders Shell, was born on Tuesday, December 18, 1958 in Pikeville, and departed this life on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. He was 66 years of age.

He is survived by his wife: Veronica Robertson Shell of Greensburg, having united in marriage on April 2, 1988.

Other survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Crystal and Joey Young of Greensburg, Sheena and Steven Burd of Hardyville; five grandchildren; a sister: Julia Kilgore of Pierce; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by two step children: Amanda Wakley and Richard Wakley; two sisters: Dorothy Boston and Ruth Ann Mixon.

There will be a visitation from 10:00 A.M, until 2:00 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with cremation to follow.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Memorial Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
