O B I T U A R Y Mrs. Shirley D. Bagby of Summersville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Henry Dobson and Beatrice Lewis Dobson, was born on Tuesday, November 21, 1939 in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Green Hill Rehab and Care Center. She was 79 years and 4 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant for Green Hill. She united in marriage to James Bagby on November 8, 1986 who preceded her in death on May 31, 1998. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Sherry Bloyd, Gayle and Ricky Edmonds all of Summersville; a son and daughter-in-law: Billy and Becky Bloyd of Summersville; five grandchildren: Carrie Martin, Melanie Edmonds, Emily Patterson all of Summersville, Jonathon Bloyd of Greensburg, and Cody Bloyd of Summersville; six great-grandchildren: Jathon Bloyd, Ashton Bloyd, Jaydon Martin, Maddox Martin, Ella Martin, and Owen Patterson; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Bagby was also preceded in death by a sister: Lucille Dobson in 1974. ................................... The funeral services for Mrs. Shirley D. Bagby will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. Bro. Dwayne Dobson officiating. Visitation is requested from 2:30 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Tuesday until time of the funeral service. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Green Hill Rehab & Care Center Activity Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
