O B I T U A R Y Shirley Lou Houk Armstrong of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ralph Eldon Houk and Callie Coffey Houk, was born on Monday, January 7, 1952 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was 69 years, and 10 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Campbellsville. She was a former caretaker and a clerk for Walmart. She united in marriage to James M. "Jim" Armstrong who preceded her in death on September 4, 2007. Survivors include a sister: Sharon Houk of Louisville; a sister-in-law: Sarah Houk of Columbia; a niece: Carla Edwards of Louisville; two nephews: Joe Houk of Louisville and Kerry Houk of Arizona; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Armstrong was also preceded in death by a brother: Joe Houk. ………………………………………… The funeral services for Shirley Lou Houk Armstrong will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Erwin J.E.
