O B I T U A R Y

Samuel T. Davis of Hardin County, son of the late Albert Davis, was born on Friday, December 21, 1951 in Owensboro, and passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was 72 years, two months, three days of age.

He served our country honorably, having served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his adopted mother: Elizabeth Leftwich of Summersville; and a son: Thomas Albert Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his longtime companion: Twalla Leftwich.

The funeral services for Samuel T. Davis will be conducted at 12 Noon, Central Time, Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens with full military honors by the Marion County Honor Guard. Bro. Leslie Jewell officiating.

Visitation is requested after 10 A.M., Central Time, Tuesday until time of the service.
