Russell Brown Larimore of Lexington, Kentucky, son of the late Virgil Thomas Larimore and Mary Eliza Rhea Larimore, was born on Friday, August 11, 1939 in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Masonic Homes of Louisville. He was 86 years, 5 months, and 13 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and worked for Verizon as a Network Architect. He was a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM.

Russell was a veteran, having served our country honorably in the United States Army Reserve.

He is survived by two sons: David Rhea Larimore of Lexington, John Thomas Larimore of Bloomington, Indiana; three grandchildren: Ava Marie Larimore, Madelyn Maree Larimore, Emma Grace Larimore.

The funeral service for Russell Brown Larimore will be conducted at 11 A.M., Central Time, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in Liberty Cemetery. Bro. Ashley Shuffett officiating.

Visitation is requested after 9:30 A.M., Central Time, Saturday at the funeral home until time of the service.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Liberty Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
