O B I T U A R Y

Rollin Clell Gentry of Greensburg, Kentucky son of the late Robert Leslie Gentry and Elizabeth Moran Gentry, was born on Saturday, June 5, 1943 in Greensburg and departed this life on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at his home. He was 82 years, 6 months, and 30 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a retired custodian from the Green County Vocational School.

He was united in marriage to Sandy Lee Simpson Gentry in 1963, who preceded him in death on October 11, 2009.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Rollin and Kristi Gentry of Greensburg; one granddaughter and her husband: Mackenzie and Alex Colvin of Greensburg; three great-grandchildren: Fischer Colvin, Oliver Colvin, Madison Colvin; a special friend: Mary Morris of Elizabethtown; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A private graveside will be held at Green County Memory Gardens. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River which can be made at the funeral home.
