O B I T U A R Y

Robert W. VanArsdale of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Luther VanArsdale and Lauline Jeffries VanArsdale, was born on Saturday, August 8, 1936 in Green County and departed this life on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was 90 years, 1 month, and 27 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of Greasy Creek Baptist Church, and was a lifelong farmer.

He was united in marriage to Era Virginia Nunn VanArsdale on June 1, 1956, who preceded him in death on January 22, 2024.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Annette VanArsdale of Greensburg; one grandson and his wife: Seth and Rebecca VanArsdale of Bowling Green; one great-granddaughter: Hailey VanArsdale of Bowling Green; a sister: Rhonda Wright of Greensburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Besides his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by one sister: Joann VanArsdale; and one brother: Tommy VanArsdale.

The funeral service for Robert VanArsdale will be conducted at 12 Noon, Central Time, Friday, October 9, 2026 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greasy Creek Cemetery. Bro. Adam Scott officiating.

Visitation is requested after 9 A.M., Central Time, Friday at the funeral home until time of the service.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Greasy Creek Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
