Philip Taylor Gumm of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Philip Olson Gumm and Joan Borden Taylor, was born on Tuesday, December 7, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at his home. He was 74 years of age.

He was a retired firefighter after 19 years of service. He was also a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Navy.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law: Richard and Chris Gumm of Florida; a special caregiver: Ashley Huff; an aunt, a host of Cousins, other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister and brother: Laura Gumm Shartzer and Charles G. Gumm.

Honoring Mr. Philip's wishes, cremation was chosen. No formal services or visitation at this time. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, Greensburg in charge of the arrangements.
