Patty Joan Howell Sidebottom of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Guy Dewey Howell and Margie Theo Skaggs Howell, was born on Wednesday, October 29, 1941 in Hodgenville, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the Campbellsville Nursing & Rehab Center. She was 82 years, 2 months, and 12 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, and retired from Lake Cumberland Home Health.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law: Jonah Sidebottom, Larkin and Roxye Sidebottom all of the Gabe Community, and David and Terri Sidebottom of Glasgow; five grandchildren: Katie Ruth Matthews (Spencer) of Glasgow, Daniel Lewis Sidebottom, Autumn Wheat Sidebottom, Justin Loy Sidebottom, and Alivia Leann Sidebottom all of the Gabe Community; a great-grandchild: Keelin Millie Matthews of Glasgow; a brother: Gordon Howell of Bowling Green; nieces and nephews: Melanie Ford, Kara Carey, and Geordon Howell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Sharon Milby Sidebottom.

The funeral services for Patty Joan Howell Sidebottom will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Mike Akridge and Bro. Daniel Marcum officiating.

Visitation is requested after 9:00 A.M., Central Time, Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society which can be made at the funeral home.
