Mr. Melvin D. Scott, son of the late Melvin James Scott and Mrs. Elizabeth Marie Scott, was born on Saturday, April 2, 1955 in Arcadia, Florida and passed away on Sunday June 14, 2020 at his daughters home in Science Hill. He was 65 years, two months, and 12 days of age. He was a heavy equipment operator for Waste Management for several years. Mr. Scott is survived by his two daughters: Susan Scott & her fiance' Anthony Horton of Science Hill and Stephanie Short of Somerset; his son: Steven Scott of Somerset; a brother & sister-in-law: Gene & Elenor Scott of Arcadia, Florida; seven grandchildren: Hunter Denniston, Carter Denniston, Malakai Horton, Mason Horton, Tori Scott, Kaci Scott and Deavyn Simpson Cremation was chosen by Mr. Melvin D. Scott and his family, no formal services will be conducted.
