O B I T U A R Y

Mark Edward Brockway of Green County, Kentucky son of the late Charles Brockway and Donna Theis Brockway was born on Monday, February 20, 1961 in Wisconsin and departed this life on Monday, September 29, 2025 at his home. He was 64 years, 7 months, and 9 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a CNC Prototype Machinist. He loved nature and spent majority of his time caring for animals and wildlife. His favorite place to eat was with his good friends at The Bakery in Donansburg.

He served our country honorably, having served in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his wife: Cynthia Lynn McNaughton Brockway of Green County, having united in marriage on July 7, 2001.

Other survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Elke Anne Pineda of Florida, Varonica and Michael Grills of California; a son: Blake Williams of California; six grandchildren: KyLee Williams-Hughes, Jordan Lee, Emaay Villalpando, Ayanna Grills, Tyson Grills, Maple Williams; eleven brothers and sisters; special friends: Sammy and Betty Sue Bonta, Jason and Christy Bonta, Steve and Reta Pickett; fur babies: Annie and Gunnar; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Honoring his wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be no formal services at this time.

Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife which can be made at the funeral home.
