O B I T U A R Y Marie Eveline Shirrell Lowe Mrs. Marie Eveline Shirrell Lowe of Green County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Lysle Spillman Shirrell and Pernie Leftwich Shirrell, was born on Friday, September 22, 1922 in Green County, and departed this life on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Green Hill Rehabilitation and Care Center in Green County, Kentucky. She was 96 years, 5 months, and 14 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a lifetime member of the Greensburg Baptist Church. She was a retired Green County & Greensburg Independent School teacher for 35 years. She was also a member of the Retired Teachers Association, and faithful leader of the Green County 4-H club for 30 years. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eules Talbert Lowe on February 3, 1996 having united in marriage on June 8, 1947. Mrs. Lowe was also preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law: Len Spillman and Joyce Shirrell. She is survived by two nieces: Peggy and Rick Miller of Tallahassee, Florida and Judy Jordan of Ruskin, Florida; a nephew: Jack and Suzanne Shirrell of Greensburg; four great nieces and nephews; two great-great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. ................................. The funeral services for Mrs. Marie Eveline Shirrell Lowe will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Central Time, Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Todd Young and Bro. Blake Jessie will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Friday until time of the funeral service.
