O B I T U A R Y Mrs. Margaret Jean Moran Jeffries of Louisville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Cecil S. Moran and Gracie Judd Moran, was born on Sunday, April 27, 1930 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville. She was 88 years, 6 months, and 11 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Russell Creek Missionary Baptist Church, she also attended the Louisville Separate Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She united in marriage to James L. Jeffries on August 21, 1946 who preceded her in death on February 20, 1999. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law: Barry and Gale Jeffries of Mammoth Cave, and Kenneth G. Jeffries and his fiancé, Kathy Underwood both of Louisville; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Jeffries was also preceded in death by a brother: Wayne Moran. ........................... The funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Jean Moran Jeffries will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Central Time, Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
