Louise Rebecca Paxton Esters Stearman of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Everett Paxton and Gladys Jeffries Paxton, was born on Wednesday, June 19, 1935, in Green County and departed this life on Monday, August 28, 2023, at the Summit Manor Nursing Facility in Columbia. She was 88 years, two months, and nine days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Presbyterian Church. She was also a retired bookkeeper.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband: Leon "Sarge" Esters on July 7, 1980, having united in marriage on November 27, 1963. She later united in marriage to Thomas "Tom" Stearman on May 27, 1988, also preceding her in death on December 31, 2006.

Ms. Stearman was also preceded in death by a son: Stewart Taylor Esters on September 30, 2019.

Survivors include a grandson: Joshua Taylor Esters and his wife, Haley of Waynesburg; three great-grandchildren: Claire Esters, Deacon Esters, Tate Esters; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Louise Paxton Esters Stearman will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Central Time, Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Trent Davis officiating.
