O B I T U A R Y

Louie Marshall Lyle of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Luard Burnice Lyle and Helen Robertson Lyle, was born on Wednesday, August 22, 1951 in Green County and departed this life on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was 74 years, 5 months, and 24 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church, where he helped serve as the music minister. He retired as a Music Teacher for the Green County School System and was previously in the gospel singing group, "The Joymakers".

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: William Dellyn Lyle and Stella Ann of Alvaton; one nephew: John Lyle of Missouri; two nieces: Kimberly Lyle of Arizona, Elaine Ceccacci of Georgia; and a special friend: Rachel Kinslow of Greensburg.

The funeral service for Louie Marshall Lyle will be conducted at 2 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Little Barren Cemetery. Bro. Roger Robertson officiating.

Visitation is requested after 9:30 A.M., Central Time, Saturday at the funeral home until time of the service.
