O B I T U A R Y Leon Burris of Greensburg, formerly Milltown, Adair County, Kentucky, son of the late Cleo Burris and Roy Keltner Burris, was born on Friday, March 14, 1947 in Green County and departed this life on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was 72 years, seven months and eight days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Living Word Faith Center in Greensburg. He was a retired carpenter and construction worker. Survived by his wife, Nona B. Burris of Greensburg, having united in marriage on June 12, 2019. Other survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law: Richard and Betty Burris of Columbia, Shannon and Robin Burris and Doug Burris all of Indiana; two grandchildren: Wesley Burris and his wife, Jessica of Columbia and Brooke Burris of Mt. Sherman; a great-grandson: Judah Burris of Columbia; a sister: Dorothy Brock of Louisville and a host of other relatives and friends. ........................................ The funeral services for Leon Burris will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
