OBITUARY Kristy Kaye Thompson of Green County, Kentucky, daughter of James Winford "Wimpy" Thompson and his companion, Betty Shirley of Green County, and the late Pamela D. Bell Thompson, was born on Wednesday, March 18, 1981 in Green County and departed this life on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville. She was 40 years, 10 months, and 5 days of age. Besides her father, she is survived by her husband: Erik Thompson of Green County having united in marriage on August 31, 2002. Other survivors include a daughter and son: Andrea Thompson and James Edward Thompson both of Green County; three brothers: Daniel Thompson of Rineyville, David Thompson and his wife, Brandy, and Nathan Thompson and his fiancé, Niki Curry all of Green County; mother-in-law: Sherri Whitlow; father-in-law: Lester Thompson and his wife, Marcia all of Green County; grandparents-in-law: Bill and Tylene Clark of Green County; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. ……………………. The funeral services for Kristy Kaye Thompson will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Little Barren Cemetery.
