O B I T U A R Y Kathy Lynn Davis Brock Mrs. Kathy Lynn Davis Brock of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of Leon G. Davis of Greensburg and the late Ruby Laverne Benningfield Davis, was born on Monday, April 30, 1956 and departed this life on Saturday, February 23, 2019 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was 62 years, 9 months, and 25 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Russell Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was a Nurse Practitioner for Family Practice Associates of Russell County and was a member of the Kentucky Nurses Association. Besides her father she is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry Brock of Greensburg, having united in marriage on February 15, 1975. Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Laryn and Clark Rueda of Greensburg; a grandson: Damen Clark Rueda of Greensburg; a sister: Teresa Stewart of Greensburg; a brother and sister-in-law: Tim and Sue Davis of Greensburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Mrs. Brock was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Michael Stewart. ......................................... The funeral services for Mrs. Kathy Lynn Davis Brock will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Central time, Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Shirrell Family Cemetery. Bro. Caleb Owens and Bro. Steve Stewart officiating. Visitation is requested from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Central time, Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7:00 AM Thursday until time of the funeral service.
