OBITUARY

Judith B. Howell Crow, age 82 of California, daughter of the late Hugh Howell and Ella Howell was born on July 17, 1940 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on January 15, 2023 from complications due to Alzheimer's.

She was a University of Kentucky graduate and was a reading specialist and grade school teacher until retirement. Her life was a living example of the Bible verse: Ephesians 4:32 "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another just as God also forgave you in Christ." She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years who was the love of her life and friend: Rufus Claude Crow, Jr. on June 1, 2019 having united in marriage on March 23, 1963. She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Lara Demaree in 2021.

Survivors include two children: Leslie Hines and husband, Alan Hines, Rufus Crow III and wife, Roxana; seven grandchildren: Paige, Dana, Sara, Katherine, Renee, Rufus IV, and Ella; five great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen. Graveside services for Judith B. Howell Crow will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Central Time on Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Greensburg Cemetery. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the local arrangements.
