O B I T U A R Y

Billy Joe Curry of Green County, Kentucky, son of the late James Curry and Ovada Simpson Curry, was born on Wednesday, June 22, 1938 in the Monroe Community of Hart County and departed this life on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at his home. He was 87 years, 4 months, and 11 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Munfordville Church of God and was also the proud owner of Curry Automotive.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years: Elizabeth Ann Russell Curry of Green County, having united in marriage on June 14, 1958.

Other survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Donna Fay Reece and James, Lisa Kay Bunch and Ricky all of Edmonton; two grandchildren: Leslie and Joey Martin, and Korey Bryant all of Edmonton; two great-grandchildren: Santana Martin of Canmer, Chloe Martin of Edmonton; two step-grandchildren: Faith and Daniel Whitlow of Edmonton, Jacob and Sherry Bunch of Smiths Grove; two step great-grandchildren: Travis Whitlow of Bowling Green, Lucas Whitlow of Edmonton; a sister: Marilyn Riggs of Florida; a brother: Randy Curry of Tennessee; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Honoring his wishes, cremation was chosen.

A memorial service for Billy Joe Curry will be conducted at 1 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the Munfordville Church of God.

Visitation is requested after 12 Noon, Central Time, Saturday until time of the service.
