O B I T U A R Y

Anita Ballard Berry "NeeNee", daughter of Paula Gail Brown Ballard of Glasgow and the late Roger Ballard, was born on Tuesday, September 3, 1968 and departed this life on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. She was 56 years, 7 months, and 27 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a born-again believer and member of New Water Baptist Church.

She had united in marriage to Timothy R. Berry on November 22, 1985, who preceded her in death on March 28, 2024.

Besides her mother, Paula Ballard, other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Timothy and Sarah Berry of Greensburg, Roger and Heather Berry of Shelbyville; one daughter and son-in-law: Emily and Andy Gaddie of Greensburg; 11 grandchildren: Gracie Todd, Jackson Todd, Jenna Berry, Justin Berry, Jessa Berry, Jorja Berry, Corbin Gaddie, Jackson Gaddie, Hadley Gaddie, Ellie Gaddie, Lawson Gaddie; her brother and sister: Dale Ballard and Pam Ballard both of Glasgow; in-laws: Gail Harper of Horse Cave, Billy and Becky Bloyd of Summersville, Joe Berry of Glasgow, Jeff Crews of Glasgow; an honorary sister: Judy Hudgins of Green County; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Besides her father and husband, she was also preceded in death by a grandchild: Jayden Berry; and a sister: Sharon Ragland.

The funeral services for Anita Ballard Berry "NeeNee" will be conducted at 12 Noon, Central Time, Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bennett Cemetery. Bro. Tim Shirley and Bro. Gordon Berry officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4 until 8 P.M., Central Time, Friday at the funeral home and after 7 A.M., Central Time, Saturday until time of the service.
