O B I T U A R Y
"Lenny" Leonard Victor Griffiths III
Mr. Leonard Victor "Lenny" Griffiths III of Thackerville, Oklahoma, formerly of Greensburg, son of Leonard Victor "Vic" Griffiths, Jr. of Greensburg and the late Ann Carlile Lewis Griffiths, was born on Monday, February 2, 1959 in Taylor County, Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Kindred Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He was 60 years, 8 months, and 20 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a professional Horseman and Judge for 38 years, from 1981 until his passing.
Survived by his wife of 37 years, Alycia Claire Ryder Griffiths of Oklahoma, having united in marriage on June 11, 1982.
Besides his father and wife, Mr. Griffiths is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Sarah Griffiths Penick and Kyle Penick of Guthrie, Kentucky, Kate Griffiths Jackson and Jarrell Jackson of Oklahoma, and Rachel Griffiths Houchens and Cody Houchens of Greensburg; five grandchildren: Aubri Jayce Penick, Avery Konner Houchens, River Andrew Penick, Ellison Klaire Houchens, and Mayson Kate Houchens; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Brummal and Jim Murphy of Louisville, and Bae and John Fuqua of Lexington; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Tom and Allison Griffiths, and Mike and Heather Griffiths all of Greensburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

There will be a Memorial Tribute conducted by family and friends for Leonard Victor "Lenny" Griffiths, III held at 2:30 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Green County Country Club, Golf Course Road, Greensburg, Kentucky.
A gathering of family and friends is requested after 11 A.M., Central Time, Saturday at the Country Club until time of the Memorial Service.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Palomino Horse Breeders of America Trainer Crisis Fund, c/o Terry Green, 15253 E. Skelly Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74116
