Obituary for Doyce Mozell Workman

O B I T U A R Y
Mr. Doyce Mozell Workman of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Omer Shively Workman and Myrtie Frances Hartfield Workman, was born on Saturday, March 19, 1932 in Green County and departed this life on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at his home. He was 87 years, 2 months, and 16 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ, and was the oldest member of the New Hope Baptist Church. He was retired, and previously work as a loop laborer for Fruit of the Loom, Cox Interior as a security guard, and Nally & Gibson Quarry as a truck driver.
He united in marriage to Flora Rene Judd Workman on December 14, 1957 who preceded him in death on February 4, 2008.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Carolyn and Donnie Henderson of Greensburg; two grandchildren: Thomas Henderson, Tiffany Henderson, and her boyfriend, Garrett Fausnaugh all of Greensburg; two sisters-in-law: Dessie Bragg of Edmonton, and Christine Judd of Glasgow; his special dog friend: Misty; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Workman was also preceded in death by his twin brother: Boyce Workman on July 11, 2010.

The funeral services for Mr. Doyce Mozell Workman will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Casey Durrett and Bro. Cary Dunbar officiating.
Visitation is requested from 1 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Saturday until time of the funeral service.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the New Hope Baptist Church, Bethlehem Cemetery, or Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
