Obituary for Margaret Pickett O'Banion

O B I T U A R Y
Margaret Pickett O'Banion of Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter of the late Leslie Pickett and Eula Keltner Pickett, was born on Sunday March 14, 1920 in Taylor County, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Traditions Assisted Living in Indiana. She was 98 years, one month, and 11 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville First United Methodist Church. Mrs. O'Banion was also a retired Elementary School Teacher.
She united in marriage to Russell Hay O'Banion on April 17, 1947 who preceded her in death on February 6, 2007.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Susan and John Roederer of Indiana; two grandchildren: John Christian "Chris" Roederer of Indiana, and Elizabeth Kathryn "Beth" Roederer of Ohio; a brother: Brooks Pickett of Louisville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters: William Pickett, Charles Pickett, Austin Pickett, Gene Pickett, Julia Curd, and Cecelia McConnell.

The funeral services for Margaret Pickett O'Banion will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Central Time, Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Ed Loy and Dr. Neil Salvaterra officiating.
Visitation is requested after 9:00 A.M., Central Time, Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.
Memorials are suggested to the Greensburg United Methodist Church Building Fund, Greensburg U.M.C. Youth Program, or the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
