Obituary for Daniel T. Curry


Mr. Daniel T. Curry of Bowling Green, formerly of Green County, son of the late Estil Curry and Floyce Tucker, was born on December, 16, 1962 in Taylor County, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Bowling Green Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was 54 years, 8 months and 21 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was the Director for the Kentucky Legal Aid Benefits Counseling Program, Adjunct Professor at Western Kentucky University, weekend Docent for the Riverview at Hobson Grove, Long-term member/actor for the Fountain Square Players Community Theater, President of the Elder Abuse Prevention Coalition, host for the KLA Benefits and Elder Abuse Program on Cable Public Television, a published author, a member of the BRADD aging Counsel, Presenter for the Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association and People's Law School, frequent speaker at various trainings on benefits and elder abuse for the Access to Justice Foundation, Marriage Officiant for the Universal Life Church, a cast member for the Fountain Square Players, the Public Theatre of Kentucky and the Phoenix Theatre.
Survivors include two sisters: Norma Houk and her companion, Maurice Beard of Greensburg and Rhonda Davis and her husband, Randall Davis of Campbellsville; a special niece: Marcia Penick and her husband Brian Penick of Greensburg; three nephews: Jeff Houk of Greensburg; Jesse Abell of Columbia and John Abell of Campbellsville; three great nieces; seven great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.


A graveside service will be held for Mr. Daniel T. Curry at 3 P.M. Central time, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Pierce Community Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to be made to the Kentucky Legal Aid Foundation, the Fountain Square Players Community Theater, the Riverview at Hobson Grove or United Way, which can be made at the funeral home.
