O B I T U A R Y
Retired Major Billy Ray Bradley of Green County, Kentucky, son of the late Jack Bradley and Cora Salter Bradley, was born on Sunday, April 21, 1946 in Andalusia, Alabama and departed this life on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at his home. He was 71 years, 11 months, and 14 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Greensburg Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Army where he served as a Canon Field Artillery Officer in Korea following the Korean War and also in the Vietnam War then retiring after 20 years of service. After retiring from the military at the age of 38, he went on to establish his own shop in Lawton Oklahoma, where he primarily built racetrack cars. In the early 80s, he sought out to develop a sponsorship and ultimately found consent through a Toyota dealership. It was then that he began his next career in Automotive Sales and Management. After many years in automotive sales, he began a career with AFLAC for 10 years then retired.
Survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara Carol Gann Bradley of Green County having united in marriage on March 26, 1986.
Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Billy L and Karen Bradley, and Dennis W. and Jodie Bradley all of Georgia; two daughters and sons-in-law: Karlyn and Clint Apon of Oklahoma and Amberly and John Leasure of Canada; 10 grandchildren: Brittaney, Dylan, Peter, Jordan, Sahara, Austin, Joshua, Delanie, Tanner, and Sarah; a brother: Bobby Bradley of Florida; two sisters: Nita McGowen of Texas and Liz Harrison of Alabama; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Per wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Billy Ray Bradley held at 3:00 P.M., Central Time, Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the Greensburg Baptist Church. Bro. Blake Jessie officiating. Music by Bro. Todd Young
